I occasionally call one 'Mr. Stabby' but nothing on a long-term basis. Once I finish this Menoth crud, I'm going to work on a Stormclad who may earn the name full time...P+S 19, and ARM 19...for Darius, the Stormclad outclasses the Thunderhead, I think.

i dont know the Thunderheads stats... i dont have the money to buy it... though i would like one (or two ^^)

can you send me the stats in a note or something?

The stormclad is Ok... It isnt the best jack ever, but i like the look of it... its just a cool model (specially the head)

Well, the Thunderhead's melee is...ok. a MAT of 6, and two attacks with Pow 15 (Critical Disruption), and a Chain Attack that Scrambles their warjack...you also suffer Disruption if you hit it in melee. Its main strength and weakness is its ranged Lightning Coil, a Range 10 RoF 3 Pow 14 electric shock. It's also got Critical Disruption, and it has a non-critical Sustained Attack. Where it shines in ranged potentially is its Energy Pulse, which lets it attack EVERY model within 8" of it (in its front arc) with a Pow 12. It's potentially an army-raper, especially vs Menoth/Cryx, but its RAT 5 vs troops makes this not so good. Darius just can't give it what it needs...Haley can, with Temporal Barrier, and so can Stryker, with his Earthquake, both greatly boosting its chances to hit stuff at ranged. and at 154 points, I'd rather field the Stormclad which can GREATLY benefit from Darius' abilities and walk away with 26 more points for a solo or something, as well as a P+S 19 attack.

so its worth buying? :D

i dont have darius ... i dont think he looks cool (and i'm all about what i think that looks cool + i'm a fluff player)

oh, one more question... what benefits do bounded jacks have? i only have the first book (my friend would normally buy the second, and i would buy the third, but he's really keen on his money, so i wont buy the third either...:D i know, its stupid)
so i dont ahve all the handy information

well, bonded jacks are a rule generally only for use in campaigns (which Apotheosis centers on). they're generally a good thing and a bad thing...Bellicose, for instance, is a jack bond that gives the affected jack +2 to hit and damage other warjacks (and warbeasts) in melee. However, because the jack bonds are basically personalities, its nature makes it pushy, so all other friendly units fighting an enemy model in its melee range suffer -2 to hit.

As for the Thunderhead, If you're using Haley or Stryker (or Siege for his Explosivo), it's good for the 750+ point games.
